Dedicated Professionals at Your Service

Jonathan P. Beck
Mr. Beck has an extensive professional history of focusing on both the transactional and litigation sides of real estate law, corporate and general business law, and estate planning in the St. Louis area.

Mr. Beck started his legal career in 2000 as an associate at Lewis Rice, a prominent downtown St. Louis law firm, practicing in the corporate and litigation departments with an emphasis on real estate, lending, and transactional work. Next, Mr. Beck pursued his life-long goal to work in the public interest, accepting a position as a staff attorney for a legal aid organization in East St. Louis, IL. In this position, he handled landlord and tenant litigation matters before moving to a position as a staff attorney at UAW Legal Services Plan in Fenton, MO. At UAW, Mr. Beck handled all aspects of a high volume and varied litigation practice of a prepaid legal services organization for autoworkers, primarily in the areas of real estate and consumer law.

Prior to co-founding Beck Dickhaus & Associates, Mr. Beck had established a long history of legal entrepreneurship. He founded his first law firm in 2004, and since that time, has been in private practice in South St. Louis, focusing primarily on real estate law, business law, and civil litigation.

Mr. Beck graduated, cum laude, from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2000, where he was an Articles Editor for the Southern Illinois University Law Journal, member of the Moot Court Board, and an Order of the Barristers member. He received his Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Philosophy and Political Science from Indiana University in 1997. Mr. Beck was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2000 and to the Illinois Bar in 2001.

Following a strong call to give back to the community, Mr. Beck has done considerable pro bono work, and has given assistance to and/or served as a board member for several non-profit organizations including Go Local St. Louis, Gateway Pet Guardians, Loosen the Leash, and Fair Shares. He is a musician and lover of yoga and exercise who enjoys spending time with his son, family, and friends, and is a member of St. Margaret of Scotland Church.
